As supported by our official nonprofit documents, revenue earned by selling donated goods in Goodwill thrift stores funds our charitable mission to fight poverty with jobs. More than 90 percent of every dollar earned by Goodwill of Southern Nevada directly benefits unemployed and underemployed residents in our region. We post our financial reports on this website so our constituents understand the scope of what they make possible.

Even with low unemployment rates, those who are not employed face significant barriers to being hired. Our full range of career services help individuals who are willing and capable of working but need help to find work. At Goodwill, we believe jobs provide a systemic solution to poverty and the societal challenges associated with it, including family instability, hunger, homelessness, addiction, and crime.

Goodwill’s retail thrift stores fund our poverty-fighting jobs programs.
