Chief of Marketing and External Relations

As chief of marketing and external relations at Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Bryan Stewart steers the organization’s branding, marketing and communications, events, and partnerships toward driving future growth and inspiring the community’s embrace of Goodwill’s mission.

Since joining Goodwill in late 2021, Stewart instituted the “Goodwill works” brand platform and guidelines, built creative and publication services, developed standard signage, implemented campaigns across all media, and marshalled the organization’s 50th anniversary celebration. He also developed an internal awards and recognition program, customer compliments portal, leadership development fellowship, and an in-store fundraising program supporting a wide range of local nonprofits.

Previously Stewart made an enduring impact on the organ donation and transplantation field as vice president at OneLegacy, the nonprofit organ procurement organization serving the greater Los Angeles area. There he served in leadership roles at Donate Life California, Donate Life America, the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations, and instituted Donate Life’s groundbreaking Rose Parade float campaign, the subject of his book Hope Blooms: Organ Donation, the Rose Parade, and Our Journey to Save Lives.

Stewart’s lengthy career includes serving as president of The Outdoor Recreation Group, CEO of Explore Transplant, and marketing roles at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, Premier Partnerships, The Outdoor Recreation Group, Siegel+Gale, Major League Soccer, the Bud Light Pro Beach Volleyball League, and Paramount Pictures, where he earned a screenwriting credit on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Stewart earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Outside of work he enjoys fitness, creative arts, music, and travel.
