Looking to Engage Your Members & Employees? Make A Difference Together at a Goodwill Store!
Goodwill of Southern Nevada rolls out the blue carpet to civic organizations and local employers seeking volunteer activities to build team spirit and positively impact our community.
Capacity, Times & Locations
Teams of 10 to 25 volunteers are welcomed to our flagship store (7680 S Las Vegas Blvd, at Robindale) on Mon. & Wed. evenings, Tuesday afternoons, and Fri. & Sat. any time. Larger groups are accepted when combined with a meeting (see below).
Menu of Activities
- Tour and introduction to lifecycle of donations
- Volunteer assignments and training
- Front retail tasks: organize by type, color, size
- Back room tasks: prepare donations for sale
- Photography, food and beverage available
Add a Donation Drive
Extend your community impact by bringing clothing, housewares, and other gently used household items, which when sold fund free career services that help people in our community gain employment and thriving careers in a wide range of local industries.
Combine with a Meeting
Kick off or end your team’s volunteer experience with a meeting in the Goodwill Training Room at our store in the Boulevard Mall (3700 S Maryland Pkwy). Seating capacity ranges from 36 to 60, with two video screens, and room for food and beverages.
