DISABILITY PROGRAMS
We provide meaningful opportunities to people with different abilities so they can experience the dignity of work, a sense of purpose, and a fully inclusive culture.
Goodwill is privileged to partner with Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation (VR Nevada) and Clark County School District (CCSD) to serve people with disabilities and the families and professionals who support them. We offer five carefully designed programs that not only support participants, but also their caregivers, who benefit from “alone time” to recharge.
For more information about Goodwill Disability Programs, please email the program manager at disabilityprograms@sngoodwill.org.

Summer Education Experience (SEE)
For students participating in special needs classes during the school year, the Goodwill Summer Education Experience (SEE) offers a five-week learning opportunity that furthers work skills.
SEE exposes learners to a week of coursework with a wide range of topics: speaking up for what they need, want and who they are; effective communication; the art of job applications; creating a resume; interviewing skills; how to work in a team; and budgeting and personal finance.
The group also traditionally takes a behind-the-scenes tour into operations at places like the Metropolitan Gallery of Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the “O” show at Bellagio.
The program’s remaining three weeks are devoted to gaining work experience at one of Goodwill’s retail locations.
