Kamalisha Green

Chief Mission Services Officer

Kamalisha “Kam” Green is the Chief Mission Services Officer for Goodwill of Southern Nevada. In her role, Kam oversees strategic initiatives involving Goodwill’s programs of service to community members and internal team members.

Kam’s leadership of Goodwill workforce development teams and programs draws on her extensive experience as an educator. Prior to joining Goodwill, Kam led Learning and Development and Workforce initiatives at CVS Health, where her efforts were recognized with the 2021 CVS Health Breakthrough Award.

Previously she founded Rethink Afterschool, a company which provided professional development and enrichment programs to students and educators at pre-K and elementary schools in Washington, D.C., Hawaii, and points in between.

Her professional experience in education began at Two Rivers Public Charter School in Washington, D.C., where she served as a teacher, and oversaw the afterschool program, and developed a program to support middle school students transitioning to high school.

Kam earned a B.A. in English Writing from Lake Forest College in Illinois, where she joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is also Master Instructor and Regional Lead for American Red Cross.

When she is not serving Goodwill and the community, Kam enjoys writing, hiking, teaching, and performing improv.
