Goodwill Training Academy Ribbon-Cutting

Goodwill of Southern Nevada (Goodwill®) celebrated the opening of the Goodwill Training Academy with a program, ribbon cutting, and tours of facilities designed to further careers in healthcare and skilled trades. The event welcomed U.S. Rep. Susie Lee, Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, and City of Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Stavros Anthony, each of whom offered remarks citing the need for workforce development programs in Southern Nevada. The program also acknowledged the Gene Haas Foundation and Tony and Renee Marlon Charitable Foundation, whose pioneering philanthropic support kickstarted the Goodwill train-to-hire programs that will be housed at the academy.
