A Standing Ovation for Goodwill Stagehand Training

On April 5, the second cohort of Goodwill’s newest train-to-hire program graduated with immediate offers of employment. The Stagehand Training program prepares participants for careers in the growing events industry. Stagehand Training participants begin the two-week course with a three-day Goodwill Thrive professional development workshop. Once completed, an OSHA-authorized instructor leads the class through training for stagehand careers, ensures there is a good understanding of the company culture of our employer partner, and provides OSHA 10 General Industry and Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck certification training. Thanks to the quality of candidates and instruction, Goodwill’s employer partner, Rhino Staging, offered immediate employment to all graduates.
