Goodwill of Southern Nevada Thrift Stores to Support Baby’s Bounty Diaper Bank in January
Yearlong Care-to-Care fundraising program invites Goodwill customers to support local causes
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (December 30, 2024) – Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s (Goodwill®) yearlong 50th anniversary celebration kicks off with a January fundraising campaign that will raise up to $10,000, and no less than $5,000, for Baby’s Bounty, the nonprofit provider of diapers and wipes to Southern Nevada families in need.
The in-store fundraising effort is part of the Goodwill Care-to-Care Nonprofit Fundraising Partnerships program, which invites Goodwill thrift store customers to contribute a dollar or more at checkout to support both Goodwill training scholarships and monthly local nonprofit organization.
“Every day, Goodwill welcomes thousands of families, including many with infants, who count on us for affordable necessities,” said Goodwill of Southern Nevada President and CEO Rick Neal. “Through our partnership with Baby’s Bounty, our customers will help young Southern Nevada families get a good start.”
“We are thankful to Goodwill for opening their doors to Baby’s Bounty,” said Kelly Maxwell, chief executive officer of Baby’s Bounty. “Funds raised at Goodwill stores will be critical in helping us maintain our inventory of diapers and wipes as demand continues to grow with our region’s population.” Since 2020, Baby’s Bounty has provided nearly 5 million diapers and 10 million wipes to 45,000 families in need.
Goodwill thrift store customers can contribute to Goodwill and Baby’s Bounty programs of service by donating a dollar or more during checkout.
